The member who is excluded from the meeting has to put it into writing that he is not going to attend the meeting, which is done prior to the meeting to ensure that there is a review of what to expect during the meeting. I would recommend that the contract be renewed with conditions whereby I will ensure to follow up on the progress and see whether the performance is improving or that the member is still on the same position they were during evaluation. I would renew because the appraisals states that the member of staff can improve and try to give another
